August is over — hooray, Fall!
I’m so sick of shorts. Can we all just agree that it’s time for leggings and sweaters and boots? Forever? I feel like I’ve reached the age where people just really don’t need to see my legs anymore.
Also, can Fall television hurry up and START? Why are seasons so short? I need Nashville and Scandal year round, please.
Favorites from August:
OMG. This show is an epic trainwreck in all the best ways possible. Three hours a week of this show isn’t even enough — I’d watch it every day. Can we put in a request for live feeds, even? I’d never leave the house. If you DON’T watch Bachelor in Paradise, it is best described as pure trash. Like all the best and trashiest parts of The Bachelor, mashed in to one show.
2. Colour Pop Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Eye Candy
LOVE Colour Pop. They are affordable and SUCH great quality! Eye Candy is described as Cool toned ethereal lavender drizzled with tons of silver and pink glitter. It goes on so smooth and shimmery — I LOVE it. So Quiche and Nillionaire are two of my other favorites.
This cute, affordable bracelet is versatile — I can wear it with casual or dressy outfits. Urbanite is a great site for cute, affordable accessories in general. I’ve loved everything I’ve bought from them!
This book series has SO sucked me in!! Imagine The Hunger Games meets The Bachelor. It’s so fun!
5. La Posh Out By the Cabin Moccassins
These are ADORABLE and don’t cost a fortune! Perfect for the Fall — pair with skinnies and a t-shirt, tunic, or sweater.
6. Caged Bird Blog Other Half Donut Set
I ordered these for Lucy and I — she loves having matching jewelry with me. She offers adult or toddler or kid sizes, so you can pair these however you want. So cute and fun!
If you found yourself addicted to Serial and have been wondering about Adnan and his appeal, you have GOT to listen to this podcast. I am hooked! The facts that have come to light have shocked me, to say the least. It’s not quite as ENTERTAINING as Serial, but if you have unanswered questions, this answers them thoroughly. It’s informative and interesting.
I’d love to hear your favorites from the month, too!
